Ghosts!2014

A curious mix between Opera, Contemporary Dance,Visual art and iphones. The piece is essentially a peek into someone else’s private space. A limited space, where two performers are triggered by one another, creating this ‘magnetic field’ of different alternating forces that explore a wide range of dynamics in human relationships; an immersive experience of an acute psychological disorientation that blurs the boundaries between reality/imagination, present/past, live/virtual and intimacy/exposure. The ghostly feeling of communication through screens and social networks and the consequent effect on us is an idea that manifests itself throughout the piece.
